Soothing Floral Baths

One thing I love to do is bathing in tea flowers. Tea flowers are the main part of blooming teas such as rose tea or chrysanthemum tea. According to ancient traditions such ingredients can work wonders to replenish dry skin and help clear acne and blemishes. I don't know how accurate those beliefs are but there is something wonderful and soothing about bathing in water that smells like a garden while surrounded by blooming flowers. Dried flowers make a great bath base because you can add any other essential oils or dried herbs you want to enhance your bathing and relaxation experience. One of the important decisions to make when doing any kind of herb bath is knowing if you'd prefer to use a satchel or let your herbs and ingredients flow free. The free flowing look is beautiful and romantic but the cleanup afterwards can be a bit of a downer. If you’d like to use a satchel you can easily make one with a coffee filter, cheesecloth, or any thin fabric of your choosing. All you do is fill the bag with anything you’d like and tie it off with some string or sew it together! A tip about oils is to use Here are two ideas for combinations to use in the bath! I’ll be posting more later. 1. Glamourous a. Lavender essential oil b. Ylang ylang oil c. Dried Organic Calendula Flowers d. Dried Organic Lavender Flowers (optional if you use the lavender essential oil) e. Dried Organic Chamomile Flowers f. Dried Organic Rose Flowers 2. Simple a. Thinly sliced lemons b. Some honey (add as much or as little as you’d like) c. Your choice of dried flowers! I prefer chrysanthemum or lavender with lemon Lemons are said to aid in cleansing the face and body, lighten dark spots and blemishes, and help remove acne and blackheads. Honey is a great skin softener and adds a sweet scent to a bath. Tip: Dried flowers and essential oils can all be found on Amazon Hope you enjoy!!
